We are now full speed ahead on The King and I. There are some sumptuous fabrics to work with and some simple stitching for the less adventurous. Come on down.
Hi Jane. May I come in earlier than 3:30 tomorrow and work on the organizing? I can stay to about 4:30, but want to get home by 5. Wednesday I would like to come in about 1 or so, and perhaps stay to see the beginning of rehearsals?
Hi Jane, I thought I would stay home today to work on the waistband for the black plaid skirt - cooler and with a ceiling fan! We did not get home until late yesterday and it was a to bed with ice packs on my back for me. But it was a wonderful weekend with family.
Once I got the waistband figured out, quarter sections marked and the center back, then used the tips for pinning and used two whip stitches for each pleat, I got into a rhythm. Went faster than I had anticipated. I'll see you tomorrow ready to tackle the peach skirt and its pleats!
